[Abstract] This chapter analyses the evolution of Galician lexicography during the last three decades, by examining its main milestones in the different areas that generally comprise lexicographic work. Special interest is given to monolingual and bilingual production, but also to other types of reference works, including databases and online lexicographic resources. Finally, we evaluate the work that has been carried out so far and conclude that Galician lexicography has come a long way in a very short time, and the result should be considered satisfactory. Although certain important tasks remain unresolved, one can say today that, in general, Galician lexicography finds itself at the same level as that of other neighbouring languages, which represents an invaluable basis for the development and study of the Galician language in many areas.
