Abstract

La relazione fra attacchi di panico (AP) ed agorafobia (AGO) è estremamente controverssa poichè la scuola statunitense considera l'AGO secondaria agli AP mentre il contrario è sostenuto dalla scuola europea. Abbiamo condotto un'indagine sulla popolazione generale verificando la relazione temporale fra AP e AGO. dai risultati emerge che l'agorafobia possa presentarsi anche in assenza di attacchi di panico.
