Abstract

Il contributo offre una presentazione del dossier agiografico in etiopico del martire persiano Giacomo Interciso e i risultati della recensio dei manoscritti che trasmettono la sua passio in Gəʿəz, con alcune riflessioni preliminari sulla sua possibile Vorlage. Un'edizione critica del testo con traduzione in inglese è in preparazione. The contribution offers a presentation of the hagiographic dossier in Ethiopic of the Persian martyr James Intercisus and the results of the recensio of the manuscripts transmitting the Gəʿəz version of his passio, with some preliminary thoughts about its possible Vorlage. A critical edition of the text with an English translation is in preparation.
