Abstract

La visión forma parte de uno de los pilares fundamentales del rendimiento deportivo, especialmente en deportes de equipo como el baloncesto, donde las habilidades visuales intervienen directamente en la ejecución técnica y táctica de cada jugador. El entrenamiento visual surge como herramienta eficaz para optimizar el procesamiento de la información visual, como han demostrado diversos estudios. En el presente Trabajo de Fin de Máster se ha diseñado e implementado un programa de entrenamiento visual adaptado a jugadores de baloncesto, valorando la mejora en las diferentes habilidades visuales y el rendimiento deportivo. La intervención se realizó en dos fases: una fase introductoria con un equipo juvenil femenino de Barcelona, destinada a validar los ejercicios, y una fase quasi-experimental con un equipo de baloncesto de 3x3 de Galicia, en la que se aplicó en programa completo. Los resultados obtenidos mediante cuestionarios pre y post, reflejaron mejoras perceptibles en la visión periférica y la rapidez de reacción. Aunque el tamaño muestral es reducido, los datos sugieren la utilidad del entrenamiento visual como recurso complementario en el rendimiento en el baloncesto.

La visió forma part d’un dels pilars fonamentals del rendiment esportiu, especialment en els esports d’equip com el bàsquet, on les habilitats visuals intervenen directament en l’execució tècnica i tàctica de cada jugador o jugadora. L’entrenament visual sorgeix com una eina eficaç per optimitzar el processament de la informació visual, tal com han demostrat diversos estudis. En el present Treball de Final de Màster s’ha dissenyat i implementat un programa d’entrenament visual adaptat a jugadors i jugadores de bàsquet, valorant la millora en les diferents habilitats visuals i en el rendiment esportiu. La intervenció es va realitzar en dues fases: una fase introductòria amb un equip juvenil femení de Barcelona, destinada a validar els exercicis, i una fase quasi experimental amb un equip de bàsquet 3x3 de Galícia, en la qual es va aplicar el programa complet. Els resultats obtinguts mitjançant qüestionaris pre i post van reflectir millores perceptibles en la visió perifèrica i en la rapidesa de reacció. Tot i que la mida mostral és reduïda, les dades suggereixen la utilitat de l’entrenament visual com a recurs complementari en el rendiment en el bàsquet.

Vision is one of the fundamental pillars of sports performance, especially in team sports such as basketball, where visual skills play a direct role in the technical and tactical execution of each player. Visual training emerges as an effective tool to optimize the processing of visual information, as demonstrated by various studies. In the present Master’s Thesis, a visual training program adapted to basketball players has been designed and implemented, assessing the improvement in different visual abilities and sports performance. The intervention was carried out in two phases: an introductory phase with a female youth team from Barcelona, aimed at validating the exercises, and a quasi-experimental phase with a 3x3 basketball team from Galicia, in which the full program was applied. The results obtained through pre- and post-training questionnaires showed perceptible improvements in peripheral vision and reaction speed. Although the sample size was small, the data suggest the usefulness of visual training as a complementary resource for enhancing basketball performance.
