Abstract

Felicori B.,Cross-pollination, in "Superblast I", exhibition catalogue (Firenze, Manifattura Tabacchi, 8 February-18 September 2021), Nero Editions, Rome 2021. In un’epoca caratterizzata da forte incertezza, gli artisti sentono il bisogno di ritornare a quell’idea di arte totalizzante che procede insieme alle altre discipline, dall’antropologia alla filosofia, dall’architettura all’urbanistica. L’arte torna ad abbracciare il concetto di interdisciplinarità che di epoca in epoca ha assunto caratteri diversi attraversando una fase matura e decisiva negli anni Sessanta e Settanta. Invade lo spazio e si dilata sulle pareti fino a diventare architettura, procede e si evolve con la natura, ritorna ad essere concetto ed esalta il lato processuale dell’atto artistico stesso. L’arte si identifica nella proiezione nello spazio ed entra in osmosi con esso. Al fine di conquistare questa nuova dimensione per realizzare un’opera d’arte totalizzante, gli artisti dispongono gli oggetti in rapporto non solo al luogo fisico quanto al pubblico che partecipa direttamente al processo creativo e diventa parte fondamentale dell’opera stessa. L’opera conquista lo spazio e si impone nello spazio come presenza dell’Io artistico. La sua esistenza tridimensionale è il prodotto di un processo in cui pensiero e azione, lavorando all’unisono, hanno portato a tale risultato: è la traduzione plastica delle proiezioni mentali e creative di un uomo.
