»» Le kinésithérapeute a un rôle à jouer dans la prise en charge pluridisciplinaire des patients atteints de mucoviscidose qui ne se limite plus au désencombrement seul. »» À l’heure actuelle, aucune technique de kinésithérapie ne fait l’unanimité. Le choix de la technique doit se faire en fonction de chaque patient, des connaissances physiologiques et physiopathologiques actuelles et de la symptomatologie, tout en veillant à accorder un maximum d’autonomie au patient. [Physiotherapy and cystic fibrosis] Physiotherapists play a key role in treatment of cystic fibrosis patients. Not only airway clearance is considered. No differences have been demonstrated in effectiveness among the airway clearance techniques. Choice of the technique depends on patient preference, physiological considerations and symptoms. Finality is to offer autonomy to the patient
