La vulnerabilidad del mundo. Democracias y violencias en la globalización

Abstract

El presente libro es el producto de la colaboración entre el Grupo de Investigación en Teorías Políticas Contemporáneas - TEOPOCO - de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia y el Centro de Investigaciones Interdisciplinarias Democracia, Instituciones, Subjectividad - CriDIS - de la Universidad católica de Lovaina. Los artículos y entrevistas aquí reunidos pretenden presentar una reflexión amplia y variada sobre diversas situaciones de violencia en el mundo, mediante contribuciones de autores invitados que provienen de diferentes disciplinas (ciencias políticas, derecho, filosofía, historia, sociología y sicología). Su punto de partida es el interés compartido por un país como Colombia, donde la violencia ha adquirido características estructurales, a pesar de que ha a sido analizada generalmente como una simple "disfuncionalidad". Además, se ha ampliado el campo analítico a otros países de América Latina (México, Perú y Chile), a África (Túnez y Ruanda), al sudeste de Asia y a Europa, para tener una perspectiva mas compleja, aunque non exhaustiva, sobre un fenómeno social que refleja la vulnerabilidad del mundo contemporáneo.
