PARALENGUAJE PARA EL LENGUAJE Los signos paralingüísticos en dos programas de contexto mediático

Abstract

El propósito general de este estudio es investigar cómo los hispanohablantes usan el lenguaje no verbal en las conversaciones. Este estudio se concentra específicamente en los signos paralingüísticos. Las preguntas de investigación se enfocan en qué signos paralingüísticos son destacables en la producción de los enunciados producidos por hispanohablantes en programas de contexto mediático, al igual que el papel que desempeñan estos signos paralingüísticos en la conversación/discurso. Los programas que se analizan para la investigación son Estado Nacional de Chile y La noche en 24 horas de España. El análisis se enfoca en la comunicación auditiva y el material ha sido analizado a través del método de análisis de la conversación. Los resultados muestran que algunos signos paralingüísticos en particular se resaltan de manera más clara que otros signos, como, por ejemplo, la entonación, la velocidad de habla, el tipo de la voz y el uso de pausas. Estos signos paralingüísticos cumplen funciones comunicativas que tienen importancia en las conversaciones, como el hecho de poner énfasis y destacar mensajes igual que expresar el compromiso y las emociones. Los resultados del estudio aportan más información al área del paralenguaje. La investigación asimismo ofrece pistas para los estudios de ELE, brindando conocimiento sobre los signos paralingüísticos en el español.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur spansktalande använder icke-verbalt språk i konversationer, med särskilt fokus på paralingvistiska tecken. I studien undersöks vilka paralingvistiska tecken som framträder i produktionen av uttalanden i spanskspråkiga mediaprogram, samt deras funktion. De program som analyserats, genom samtalsanalys med fokus på auditiv kommunikation, är Estado Nacional i Chile och La noche en 24 horas i Spanien. Resultaten visar att paralingvistiska tecken, så som tonfall, talhastighet, inandning och användning av pauser, framträder tydligare än andra. Dessa tecken uppfyller olika kommunikativa funktioner som är viktiga för samtal, såsom att betona och framhäva meddelanden, använda vissa strategier i tal och uttrycka engagemang och känslor. Studien ger ytterligare resultat till paralingvistisk forskning samt bidrar till kunskapen om paralingvistiska tecken för studier inom språklärande i spanska.
