Den stora goda koncentrationen

Abstract

Det här masterarbetet undersöker och diskuterar vad närvaro i musik kan vara och hur man kan träna på att vara mer närvarande oftare. Undersökningen har skett genom en lärandeprocess med utgångspunkt i österländska traditioner som zenbuddhism, qigong och yoga. Med hjälp av en pedagog har jag närmat mig begreppet närvaro genom dessa traditioner och genomfört en serie experiment där olika metoder hämtade från vårt arbete har fått påverka den utövande situationen. Dessa har sedan analyserats för att eventuellt kunna visa på skillnader mellan situationer där jag tar utgångspunkt i ovanstående traditioner och de där jag inte gör det. Uppsatsen innehåller fyra videoinspelningar och två ljudinspelningar från experimenten. Dessa har genomförts i tre olika situationer som är vanliga för musiker; repetition, konsert och studioinspelning
