Abstract

Recent studies show that Executive Functions act as an orchestra director for the human brain, they are the ones directing and organizing behaviors and learning. It is necessary to know what implications they have in the education of pupils, to do evidence-based practices, especially when these Executive Functions are affected by some neuropsychological disorder and complicate the acquisition of important abilities for the pupil’s development. This study aims to train in two abilities: prepare the study environment, and solve math problems. The student participating had the diagnose of ADHD. To reach these goals, two instruments were designed, in the form of a step sequence. The results show that the more steps followed, the more success is reached in these tasks. These results are discussed with the current literature, and proposals are presented for future research.
