Famille, parenté, transmission du Moyen Âge à nos jours
Abstract

Le sang est devenu un objet d’histoire sociale et culturelle depuis une vingtaine d’années. Si les métaphores du sang sont inhérentes aux représentations de la famille et de la parenté en Occident, la catégorie du sang n’est pas intemporelle. Ancrant la famille dans le corps, la référence aux liens du sang est l’enjeu de croyances, de gestes, de savoirs juridiques ou médicaux en constante évolution suivant les espaces, les sociétés, les périodes considérées. À la croisée de la démographie et de l’histoire de la famille, convoquant l’histoire de l’art, l’histoire politique et religieuse, le droit, la médecine et l’anthropologie, ce colloque pluridisciplinaire a pour but de cerner les manières dont les imaginaires du sang impactent ou s’expriment dans des discours, des normes, des représentations, ainsi que dans des pratiques et des comportements, pour documenter les reconfigurations de la famille et de la parenté dans les espaces européens et coloniaux depuis le Moyen Âge.
