Éclairages pluridisciplinaires pour l'aménagement des langues créoles, langues en situation de contact inégalitaire

Abstract

Les langues créoles, pour la plup art insuffisamment aménagées, sont toujours en contact avec des langues standardisées depuis longtemps.Ce contact est toujours inégalitaire, même si cette inégalité n'est pas la même selon les langues : certaines d'entre elles, grâce à leurs défenseurs, ont pu acquérir des droits non négligeables. Cela dit, l'une des causes de l'inégalité dans ce contact de langues est le manque d'aménagement. Rien n'est facile en matière d'aménagement des langues et les sociétés créoles présentent à cet égard une situation particulièrement complexe. Peut-être même seraient-elles plus rétives que d'autres à la standardisation linguistique du fait de la présence dans leur intimité d'une langue standard qui est aussi une langue mère. Pour cette raison, elles ont tout à gagner d'une réflexion sur les pratiques linguistiques et les pratiques culturelles qu'elles portent.
