Hybride, hybridité, hybridation

Abstract

Qu’est-ce qu’un hybride ? Au sens propre, ce terme désigne un être biologique né de deux individus appartenant à des espèces distinctes. Par métaphore, il s’applique aujourd’hui à de multiples domaines culturels et sociaux. Dans ce volume, nous nous proposons d’interroger la signification première de ce concept, en explorant ses usages en biologie et ses retombées en paléontologie humaine et en préhistoire. On interrogera également ses utilisations en anthropologie. Enfin, nous pourrons relier ces interrogations aux tendances modernes à la valorisation esthétique de l’hybridité, dans le champ artistique, en particulier muséal. Nous attendons spécifiquement pour cet appel des propositions portant sur l’histoire des savoirs et des concepts scientifiques en rapport avec la notion d’hybridation, ou encore sur ses usages dans les pratiques de l’agronomie.
