Se presentan resultados de los principales indicadores biológico-pesqueros de los recursos de invertebrados marinos de mayor relevancia en la pesquería artesanal de la costa peruana durante el 2015. Se contó con la participación de los laboratorios costeros de Imarpe, así como de otras Unidades y Laboratorios de Investigación de la Sede Central para disponer de una visión general sobre el estado de estos recursos y sus fluctuaciones espacio-temporal en función a la pesquería y ambiente marino, como base para su ordenamiento pesquero. Se desembarcaron 571.348 t de invertebrados marinos a lo largo del litoral peruano, conformados por 42 especies entre cefalópodos, gasterópodos, crustáceos, bivalvos, equinodermos y cnidarios. El recurso de mayor importancia en la pesquería artesanal fue el calamar gigante o pota por sus volúmenes de desembarque. Esta especie presentó un importante cambio en abundancia y distribución, probablemente relacionado al evento El Niño 2015-2016. Otras especies de importancia económica que vieron disminuidos sus desembarques fueron la concha de abanico y calamar común, mientras que otras incrementaron sus desembarques como pulpo, choro, caracol, cangrejo peludo y langostinos. Los mayores desembarques se registraron en el puerto de Paita, seguido por Parachique, Atico y Yacila.
ABSTRACT: Results of the main biological-fishing indicators of the most relevant marine invertebrate resources in the artisanal fishery on the Peruvian coast during 2015 are presented. Imarpe’s coastal laboratories, as well as other Research Units and Laboratories at Headquarters, participated in the monitoring in order to provide an overview of the status of these resources and their spatio-temporal fluctuations in terms of the fishery and marine environment, as a basis for their regulation. A total of 571,348 t of marine invertebrates were landed along the Peruvian coast, consisting of 42 species including cephalopods, gastropods, crustaceans, bivalves, echinoderms and cnidarians. The most important resource in the artisanal fishery, due to its landing volumes, was the jumbo flying squid. This species presented an important change in abundance and distribution, probably related to El Niño event in 2015-2016. Other species of economic importance that saw their landings decreased were the Peruvian scallop and common squid, while others increased their landings such as octopus, mussel, snail, furry crab and prawns. The largest landings were recorded in the port of Paita, followed by Parachique, Atico and Yacila.
