Abstract

Se presentan algunas observaciones sobre la composición y distribución de las principales especies dentro del ictioplancton en los meses de mayo y junio 2003. La anchoveta (Engraulis ringens) fue una de las más importantes por sus niveles de abundancia y frecuencia; también lo fueron el pez luminoso (Vinciguerria lucetia) y el esperlán plateado (Leuroglossus urotranus). Se observa disminución en el número de especies y niveles de abundancia comparados con estudios de años anteriores durante la misma estación.
