Kanun Öğrencilerinin Taksim Yapmaya Yönelik Görüşlerinin Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

This study was conducted to evaluate the kanun students views about performing a taksim. In addition, the subject of taksim was examined and its role in the music teaching undergraduate program was evaluated. The study group of the research consists of 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students (n: 8) studying kanun within the scope of individual instrument education in the Spring Semester of 2018-2019 academic year at the Department of Music Education of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University’s Fine Arts Education Department. The research was conducted in a qualitative framework utilizing the interview method. The data was obtained through a semi-structured interview form prepared by the researchers and was analyzed descriptively. As a result of the study, it was determined that the students studying kanun felt insufficient in terms of makam and modulation. In addition, they benefit from previous taksim performances. Moreover, they found themselves more competent in nihâvend and uşşâk makams while performing taksim. Most of the students expressed that taksim training should play a larger role in the curriculum. It has been determined that kanun students generally reach the resources related to taksim training via internet sources. Most of the kanun students had positive attitudes towards performing a taksim. In addition, it was determined that some of the students had difficulties in improvising and had experienced stress and anxiety.

Bu çalışma, kanun öğrencilerinin taksim yapmaya yönelik görüşlerinin değerlendirilmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ayrıca araştırma kapsamında taksim konusu irdelenerek, müzik öğretmenliği lisans programındaki yeri değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Muğla Sıtkı Koçman Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalında 2018-2019 Eğitim-Öğretim yılı Bahar Yarıyılında bireysel çalgı eğitimi kapsamında kanun öğrenimi gören 1., 2., 3. ve 4. sınıf öğrencileri (n: 8) oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma nitel çerçevede, görüşme yöntemiyle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler, araştırmacılar tarafındanhazırlanan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formuyla elde edilmiş ve betimsel olarak analiz edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda, kanundersi alan öğrencilerin taksim yaparken makam ve geçki konularında kendilerini yetersiz hissettiği, taksim yaparken daha çokdinleme yoluyla önceki taksimlerden yararlandıkları, taksim yaparken nihâvend ve uşşak makamlarında kendilerini daha çokyeterli buldukları, taksim eğitimine programda daha fazla yer verilmesi gerektiği görüşünde oldukları, kanun öğrencilerinintaksim eğitimine ilişkin kaynaklara genellikle internet kaynaklarından ulaştıkları, kanun öğrencilerinin çoğunun taksimyapmaya karşı tutumlarının olumlu olduğu ve buna ek olarak, taksim yaparken öğrencilerin bir kısmının zorluk çektiği, stresve telaş yaşadığı belirlenmiştir.
