Investigation of Maintenance Facilities in Forest Products Industry; Example of Duzce

Abstract

Bakım faaliyetleri, makinelerin kullanım ömürlerini uzatabilmek için arızalandıkları ya da belirli zaman aralıkları ile yapılan kontrol ve onarım işleridir. Çalışmada orman ürünleri endüstrisinde bakım faaliyetleri ile ilgili genel bir durumun ortaya konulabilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla Düzce ilinde orman ürünleri endüstrisinde faaliyet gösteren işletmelere bir anket çalışması yapılmıştır. Çalışmaya 52 işletmenin %62,5’inin katılımı sağlanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda; işletmelerin %48,5’inde arıza olduğunda bakım yöntemi uygulandığı, %78,8’inde bakım talimatlarının uygulandığı, %63,6’sında bakım bölümlerinin geliştiği belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca işletmelerin büyük çoğunluğu (%90,9) tarafından bakım çalışmalarının kontrol ve denetlemesinin yapıldığı belirtilmiştir.

Maintenance facilities are done periodically or when machines break in order to prolong their life and usage. The aim of the study is to present the general condition of maintenance facilities in forest products industry. For this purpose, a survey is conducted in the enterprises which operate in forest products industry in Duzce. 62,5% of 52 enterprises have joined to this study. As a result of the study, it is found that 48,5% of the enterprises apply maintenance techniques when the breakdown, 78,8% of them follow maintenance instructions and 63,6% of them are developed in terms of maintenance department. Moreover, control and examination of maintenance operations are done by the great majority of the enterprises (90,9%).
