Abstract

The paper presents the development of tourism sector within the national economy between 1990-2014 aiming to determine the relationships between structural changes and development growth of tourism in Bulgaria under the globalization impacts. The studied period is covering the main stages of transformation and transition to a market economy, the EC membership (2007), the global financial and economic crisis (2008-2011) and the recovery stabilization by the end of 2014.
