Abstract

La memoria es un concepto atractivo y en sí mismo difícil de comprender e integrar con otros conceptos, siendo un sistema al mismo tiempo abstracto pero con diversas formas de concretarlo ya sea de forma visual, verbal, de acuerdo a su a su duración, por su recuperación y su papel en el aprendizaje. El módulo de los procesos de memoria abarca el complicado sistema en el que se divide la memoria, el mismo sufre estas subdiviones para facilitar la comprensión de lo que globalmente recordamos, partiendo de que cada una sufre las mismas etapas, de codificación, almacenamiento y recuperación, hasta sus las características particulares y diferencias de cada información que recordamos, ya sea por su duración, como es la memoria a corto y largo plazo; por su tipo de información, semántica o episódica, procedimental, etc., como recuperamos y accedemos cada una, ya sea de forma consciente o inconsciente, etc. Por último, se estudian los fallos de la memoria, las experiencias de no poder recordar un evento, un concepto o experiencias en su totalidad las hemos sufrido todas las personas, estos fallos tienen una clasificación propia que nos permite distinguirlos e identificar que procesos del sistema de la memoria afectan.
