Trashumancia en el mediterráneo

Abstract

La trashumancia ha sido durante siglos uno de los elementos más importantes en la economía de las sociedades mediterráneas. Sus repercusiones todavía se pueden observar hoy en el paisaje rural, en las estructuras familiares y en la cultura de muchos de los países de nuestro entorno. En este libro, articulado en cuatro secciones, se estudia en primer lugar la Arqueología y la Historia de la trashumancia. Posteriormente, su dimensión antropológica, con trabajos que analizan desde la representación y la imagen del pastor, las fiestas o el papel de la mujer. La huella en el paisaje es estudiada desde la perspectiva geográfica. Por último se analiza la situación actual, la problemática jurídica y el futuro de la trashumancia. Un conjunto de especialistas franceses, italianos, rumanos y españoles, sin perder de vista la dimensión global de la trashumancia, ni la perspectiva multidisciplinar de análisis, plantean en esta obra tanto un estado de la cuestión, como una nueva visión metodológica del fenómeno trashumante en el Mediterráneo.
