El objetivo del estudio fue evaluar el conocimiento y actitudes sobre salud bucal en padres de niños con trastorno del espectro autista, Lambayeque, 2022. El estudio fue cuantitativo, descriptivo, transversal y observacional, se utilizó un cuestionario virtual. Participaron 110 padres/madres. Se incluyeron padres/madres de niños autistas activos en la asociación, que aceptaron participar mediante la hoja informativa, que contaban con WhatsApp y Gmail. Se excluyeron padres/madres que no llenaron completamente el cuestionario. El estudio fue aprobado por el Comité de Ética en investigación de la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad Católica Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo. El cuestionario consta de 14 preguntas con categoría de respuesta Sí y No, fue elaborado en base a tres cuestionarios de artículos. Se realizó la prueba piloto con 30 participantes, mediante test y re-test para validar y obtener la confiabilidad del instrumento, se obtuvo una confiabilidad de 0.7 mediante la prueba Kuder Richarson, Para su aplicación, fueron previamente codificados en una matriz Excel y su duración fue de 15 minutos aproximadamente. Se encontró que el nivel de conocimientos y actitudes que predomina en el estudio fue el nivel regular con 67.3%.
