In this study, historical worksrealised in Public house and as a special Konya Public House,which served as informal education and culture centers,is made a resarch on historical research method is used in this study as the first era (1932-1951) of the Public House is investigated. During the research it’s tried to reveral the assistance of Public House to the Turkish history during Republic era by determining the history understanding of the first era of the Public House.
Bu çalışmada, yaygın eğitim ve kültür kurumu olarak bir döneme damgasını vuran Halkevlerinde ve özel olarak Konya Halkevi’nde yapılan tarih çalışmaları incelenmiştir. Konya Halkevi’nin çıkardığı süreli yayın olan Konya dergisinin bibliyografyası da ayrı bir çalışma olarak yapılmıştır. Dönem olarak Halkevlerinin 1932-1951 yılları arasındaki birinci dönem Halkevleri incelendiği için tarihi araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır.
