Wychowanie społeczne i religijne w dobie przemian cywilizacyjnych

Abstract

The article discusses the issue of social and religious education in the time of rapid civilization changes. The conducted analysis enabled to emphasize the truth that humans as subjects of education require integral education that en­ compasses all the spheres of their personal life and where social and religious aspects of education play an important role. These aspects give humans a sense of being ingrained in the culture, help them accomplish their fundamental needs connected with the intensive adolescence period and enable them to update their human potentiality. The author of the article also raises the issue of difficulties and dangers connected with the period of adolescence; a general analysis of the lifestyle of today’s adolescents enabled to address the issue of social sphere where dynamic, and not always correct, development of young people occurs, that is of people who have their hopes and expectations connected with their future and the world they live in.
