El análisis de ingesta mediante el método de entrevista (recuerdo de 24 horas) de una población escogida al azar del ceso de Reus demuestra que el consumo de leche y sus derivados durante el crecimiento es bajo, aunque es en estas edades donde existe una ingesta mayor. En el segundo año de vida el 30% de la población estudiada no ingiere leche. El consumo de grasas es alto (máximo 62,1± 16,5 g/hab/día) a los 16-20 años). Se observa una baja ingesta de verduras, patente sobre todo en la infancia. En conclusión, la dieta es pobre en calcio y rica en ácidos grasos monoinsaturados.
The analysis of the dietary intake by the interview method (24 hour recall) of a group randomly selected from the Reus census (Tarragona, Spain) demostrates that the consumption of milk and dairy products is low during growth although it is highest at this age. 30% dones not drink milk during the second year of age. The consumption of fats is high (maximum 62,1± 16,5 g/person/day at 16-20 years of age). We note a low intaken of vegetables, especially during childhood. In conclusion, the diet is poor in calcium and rich in monounsaturated fatty acids.
