Abstract

1. Account of the Cape of Good Hope 1652 to the beginning of the 19th Century. 2. Account of the Dutch Reformed Church 1652 to the beginning of the 19th Century. The aim of this thesis is to show the influence of the Church of Scotland on the DRC, in pastoral work, missionary enterprise, educational undertrakings, and Church polity; and to evaluate its effect.
