Seychelles Artisanal Fisheries Statistics for 2011.

Abstract

During 2011, a total of 2867.5 MT of fish was landed on Mahé, Praslin and La Digue by approximately 424 fishing boats where 91% of the total catch was landed on Mahé. The total artisanal catch increased by 270.9MT whilst the number of boats operating decreased by 14.6 vessels (excluding sport fishing vessels) respectively compared to 2010. Published
