Abstract

A otimização dos processos de tratamento têxtil é fundamental, tendo em vista a redução dos tempos de processamento, consumo de reagentes, energia e água, melhorando dessa forma a sua sustentabilidade económica e ambiental. Para se proceder à otimização dos processos de tratamento enzimático torna-se imprescindível o desenvolvimento de métodos precisos, rápidos e de fácil implementação que permitam determinar a atividade enzimática nas mais variadas condições de processamento, situação que não se verifica na atualidade. Neste contexto, procedeu-se no âmbito do presente trabalho ao desenvolvimento de um método para a determinação da atividade enzimática das celulases e de outro para a determinação da atividade enzimática das amílases que cumprem os requisitos inicialmente definidos, criando dessa forma as condições necessárias para que se possa proceder à otimização dos processos de tratamento com estas duas enzimas.
