Abstract

As organizações, independentemente da área em que se insiram, desejam que os seus projetos alcancem o sucesso, uma vez que influenciam o seu futuro. Projetos em tecnologias e sistemas de informação (TSI) não são uma exceção, sendo imprescindível que se identifiquem os critérios para avaliar/medir o sucesso. Ao longo das últimas décadas, têm sido desenvolvidos vários estudos sobre critérios de sucesso. No entanto, são escassos os estudos que apresentam uma reflexão integrada sobre critérios de sucesso. Por outro lado, é correto afirmar que, para cada projeto, devem ser definidos os critérios de sucesso a utilizar, pelo facto de cada projeto ter os seus objetivos e necessidades específicas. A presente dissertação tem como finalidade apresentar um modelo de critérios de avaliação do sucesso em projetos de TSI. Para tal, inicialmente foi realizada uma revisão sistemática de literatura, que permitiu identificar um conjunto abrangente de critérios de sucesso passíveis de serem utilizados nos projetos. De seguida, os critérios foram categorizados de forma a constituir um modelo de critérios. As categorias definidas são as seguintes: Iron triangle, Satisfaction, Benefits, Outcomes, Quality e, por último, Others. O principal contributo deste trabalho é a compilação e organização dos critérios de sucesso, com vista a auxiliar os profissionais de TSI na definição de critérios de sucesso a utilizar na avaliação dos seus projetos.
