Abstract

Para uma organização é fundamental que os seus projetos de desenvolvimento software sejam bem-sucedidos. Contudo, estes projetos têm sido frequentemente apontadoscomo “empreendimentos problemáticos”. O presente artigo apresentaos resultados preliminares de umtrabalho de investigação conduzido com o intuito de caracterizar o sucesso dosprojetos de desenvolvimento de software em Portugal. Os resultados obtidos revelam elevados níveis de sucesso, contrariando a ideia de insucesso que nas últimas décadas tem prevalecido. Contribui-se, assim, com uma nova e atualizada perspetiva deste fenómeno
