Abstract

A investigação indica que a intervenção vocacional é uma ferramenta útil ao desenvolvimento de adaptabilidade de carreira. O programa de intervenção vocacional “Eu Pertenço ao Meu Futuro!”, na modalidade de consulta psicológica vocacional breve e estruturada, pretende auxiliar jovens portugueses do nono ano, e respetivas famílias, numa tomada de decisão de carreira escolar. Segundo a literatura, o programa influencia positivamente a adaptabilidade de carreira dos jovens. Contudo, sabe-se pouco sobre a sua eficácia perante alterações do contexto socioeducativo. Neste estudo, analisa-se a eficácia do programa em dois anos letivos distintos, consecutivos (2015/16, 2016/17), que correspondem a alterações governamentais e das políticas educativas, com impacto no contexto escolar. Participaram 2376 alunos de ambos os sexos [1201 (50.5%) rapazes, com idades entre os 12 e os 18 anos], a frequentar escolas do noroeste do País, distribuídos por grupo de intervenção (2015/16, n = 693; 2016/17, n=445) e comparativo (2015/16, n = 543; 2016/17, n=273). Os participantes responderam à Escala sobre Adaptabilidade, num pré e pós-teste, com um intervalo de 7 semanas entre momentos. Os resultados de uma MANOVA indicam que a intervenção influenciou positivamente a adaptabilidade dos alunos, e que o programa é sensível a alterações contextuais, atingindo melhores resultados em 2016/17.
