Políticas institucionais de qualidade e democratização no ensino

Abstract

As políticas de qualidade do ensino nas IES determinam, em larga medida, o trabalho pedagógico dos docentes e as aprendizagens dos estudantes. O estudo aqui relatado procurou identificar dimensões de qualidade do ensino nas políticas de qualidade duma IES e compreender em que medida essas políticas incorporam e fomentam valores e práticas democráticos. A partir da análise indutiva de um corpus de documentos institucionais, verifica-se a existência de uma visão plurifacetada da qualidade do ensino, que integra dimensões de democratização mas também uma clivagem entre o discurso programático, onde essas dimensões são mais evidentes, e a instrumentação da avaliação do ensino, onde elas se esbatem. Sugere-se que uma maior coerência entre o discurso programático e os instrumentos de avaliação do ensino poderá favorecer uma maior transformação das práticas pedagógicas e dos modos de construção da profissionalidade docente no ensino superior
