Abstract

Este capítulo irá debruçar-se sobre a relação entre injustiça ambiental e um mecanismo estatal previsto na lei para auscultação dos cidadãos: a consulta pública. Concretamente, irá centrar-se sobre um projecto de instalação de linhas de muito alta tensão entre Vila do Conde e a Rede Eléctrica de Espanha, analisando, através de entrevistas e grupos focais, as percepções e experiências das populações relativamente ao processo de consulta pública que foi levado a cabo em 2013-2014.
