This research work studied the incorporation of a non-Newtonian fluid composed of silica nanoparticles in a cotton substrate material. The modified cotton substrate was subjected to anti-stabbing tests, which revealed that the use of only nine layers of silica-functionalized cotton was sufficient to hold the stab action since only the first layer was perforated.
