Abstract

O desporto é hoje um sector de actividade económica. Um grande número de variáveis torna a TV e o desporto mutuamente atractivos. As "audiências do desporto" passaram a ter um lugar cativo nas grelhas de programação televisiva. Neste contexto, surgiu o "desporto das audiências". O desporto de audiências e as audiências do desporto, enquanto componentes dos processos produtivos de desporto e de televisão, misturam-se, influenciam-se, condicionam-se e potenciam-se.
