Abstract

O uso de ferramentas computacionais tem sido cada vez mais frequente em pesquisas de planejamento urbano, em simulações de previsão de cenários futuros e na inclusão de modelos matemáticos. O objetivo deste estudo é o de verificar a influência da geometria urbana nos valores de intensidade de ilha de calor noturna através da simulação com o uso da ferramenta THIS – Tool for Heat Island Simulation. Essa ferramenta foi desenvolvida como sub-rotina de cálculo incorporada ao SIG ArcGIS 10.2. O método do trabalho inclui levantamento de campo (monitoramento de dados climáticos e dados de geometria urbana); desenvolvimento da ferramenta computacional; ajuste; e simulação. Este estudo traz como contribuição, a verificação de que, para um mesmo valor de relação H/W (altura/largura do via), cânions urbanos com maior rugosidade resultam em valores de intensidade de ilha de calor menores em relação aos cânions de menor rugosidade.
