Abstract

O CDMicro - Congresso sobre Diversidade Microbiana da Amazônia vem se consolidando ao longo dos anos, tornando-se um referencial regional com alcance nacional e internacional na divulgação da microbiota amazônica. Para que as informações apresentadas no Congresso tenham um maior alcance de divulgação, optou-se, a partir do 5° Congresso realizado no final de 2014, para a elaboração de um livro, dando a oportunidade aos autores dos trabalhos apresentados durante o evento, para transformarem suas apresentações em capítulos do livro. Para isso, foi solicitado aos autores interessados na conversão, para ampliarem o número de páginas e adotando-se um padrão geral de qualidade e de redação. Esse livro é o resultado da compilação elaborada e autorizada pelos autores que se interessaram em publicar seus trabalhos apresentados no 5° CDMicro na forma de capítulos.
