Rectificador em cascata com regulação automática

Abstract

Este artigo descreve sucintamente o projecto e a construção de um rectificador em cascata de 4 estágios, 120 kV, do tipo Cockcroft-Walton, com regulação automática da tensão de saída através da comutação da tensão de entrada por dois tirístores em anti-paralelo. O controle em malha fechada é feito pela realimentação do sinal da tensão de saída obtido por um divisor resistivo. A inovação deste trabalho consistiu em utilizar-se não apenas o valor médio da tensão de saída, mas também o seu valor de ripple, como informação para o ajuste do ângulo de disparo dos tirístores. Dessa forma, o sistema de controle torna-se mais rápido, pois diferentemente do valor médio da tensão de saída, o valor do ripple varia instantaneamante com a variação da carga aplicada à saída do rectificador em cascata.
