Rectificador em cascata com regulação automática

Abstract

Este artigo descreve de forma sucinta o projecto e construção de um rectificador em cascata do tipo Cockcroft-Walton de 4 estágios, 120 kV, com regulação automática da tensão de saída, através da variação do ângulo de disparo de dois tirístores em anti-paralelo. O controlo em malha fechada é feito pela realimentação da tensão de saída obtido com um divisor resistivo. A inovação deste trabalho consistiu na utilização não apenas do valor médio da tensão de saída pelo circuito de controlo, mas também do seu valor de ripple. Dessa forma, o sistema de controlo torna-se mais rápido, uma vez que, diferentemente do valor médio da tensão de saída, o valor do ripple varia de forma instantânea com a mudança da carga aplicada ao rectificador em cascata.
