Abstract

This study consists of a brief theoretical re ection on “bath books” for children, understood as an important publishing form in the formation of a pre-literary competence. It aims at moving forward with a proposal for a typological classi cation based in its characteristics and current trends, by means of a representative sample of bath books available in Portuguese publishing market.
