O novo luxo: um novo olhar sobre o fenómeno

Abstract

Este trabalho pretende investigar e analisar o luxo como ele existe na atualidade. Ao longo da história, este fenómeno foi assumindo várias formas e várias conotações. Mas, partindo dos pressupostos contextuais atuais, o luxo encontra-se numa fase de mudança. Sendo um fenómeno intrínseco à humanidade, à cultura e à sociedade, todos os fatores foram objetos de análise. O ser humano determina o curso que o luxo levará agora e no futuro. Desde a globalização, à massificação, passando pela democratização, a sociedade em que existimos delineou uma reviravolta no conceito e na estruturação do luxo. Com esta investigação estuda-se o luxo, como fenómeno social, económico e cultural. O consumidor, determinando as suas motivações e o seu perfil, e as marcas com as suas estratégias e comunicação. Existirá um novo olhar sobre o luxo? Ou a sua complexidade multiplica as visões sobre este assunto?
