Maintenance management practices of companies of the industrial pole of Manaus

Abstract

The study presented in this paper aims to identify the practices of maintenance organization and management adopted by companies in the industrial pole of Manaus in Brazil in relation to their production equipment. A questionnaire was developed and sent to the company of the industrial pole and the received data was analyzed using descriptive statistics. This study is part of a project that aims to define different levels of maturity in this area and identify the determinants factors to achieve higher levels of efficiency and effectiveness.
