O jogo multimédia como ferramenta de trabalho cooperativo e colaborativo

Abstract

Programação e multimédia: duas áreas distintas no âmbito da informática que inevitavelmente se cruzam na criação de jogos. Este estudo, realizado no âmbito do Estágio Pedagógico Supervisionado do Mestrado em Ensino de Informática da Universidade do Minho, visou a orientação de 38 alunos de 2 turmas do Ensino Secundário para o desenvolvimento de um projeto comum (jogo multimédia), tirando partido das áreas vocacionais complementares de “Ciências e Tecnologias” e “Artes Visuais”. Assente na coadjuvação entre 3 estagiários, este estudo apostou no trabalho colaborativo e cooperativo intra e inter-turmas como forma de avaliar o potencial da criação de jogos na melhoria do processo ensino-aprendizagem, nomeadamente no treino das habilidades do século XXI (Committee on Defining Deeper Learning and 21st Century Skills, 2012) e estímulo da motivação e da competitividade positiva (Freitas & Freitas, 2002). Os resultados obtidos, com recurso a várias técnicas de recolha de dados permitem-nos concluir que através promoção da colaboração e da cooperação entre turmas é possível aumentar a motivação, bem como intensificar a competitividade positiva entre os alunos.
