Se Pinóquio nascesse hoje, seria um ciborgue?

Abstract

Neste estudo inspiramo-nos nas Aventuras de Pinóquio e problematizamos na perspetiva da pedagogia a relação entre literatura e novas tecnologias, a fim de desmistificarmos o encantamento, senão mesmo o feitiço, desse tipo de tecnologias e mostrar que elas não podem substituir, mesmo aceitando algumas das suas qualidades, aquilo que o humano tem de mais original- o pensamento, o livre-arbítrio e a arte de criar o belo. Neste sentido, evocamos a figura de Pinóquio para discutirmos a questão da tecnologia e a resistência crítica ao seu uso e, sobretudo, ao modo como essa mesma tecnologia nos usa ou instrumentaliza. Compreende-se assim que falemos num primeiro momento, influenciados por Oswald Spengler, André Taguieff e Neil Postman, da Tecnologia como um novo deus. Num segundo momento, falaremos da necessidade de resistir ao feitiço de que as Novas Tecnologias tudo podem, e isso será feito a partir do exemplo de Pinóquio e da sua resistência à Escola.
