Análise da estabilidade de taludes recorrendo a ferramentas inteligentes

Abstract

Neste trabalho são aplicadas ferramentas computacionais inteligentes à avaliação da estabilidade de taludes. Para isso, foi criada uma base de dados de 715 taludes contendo as características geométricas e geotécnicas, a sobrecarga aplicada no topo dos taludes, o factor de segurança e o índice de fiabilidade. Aplicando o processo de Data Mining sobre a base de dados criada, são testadas, no ambiente do programa R, várias técnicas para a previsão quer do factor de segurança quer do índice de fiabilidade. Para avaliar o desempenho das várias técnicas são usadas as curvas REC e medidas baseadas no erro ou resíduo. Constata-se que são as técnicas baseadas em Máquinas de Vectores de Suporte e em Redes Neuronais Artificiais que apresentam os melhores desempenhos. Foram ainda implementadas técnicas de optimização que permitem determinar a geometria de um talude (par altura – inclinação) para um dado factor de segurança ou índice de fiabilidade sendo introduzidas as características geotécnicas e a sobrecarga aplicada no topo do talude.
