Abstract

En este estudio se construye una metodología de cuidado con niños institucionalizados que sufrieron violencia. El objetivo consistió en ampliar el conocimiento teórico-metodológico acerca del jueguete terapéutico y desarrollar un modelo de cuidado para su aplicación. El estudio es una Investigación Convergente Asistencial, de tipo cualitativa, desarrollada entre octubre del 2004 y abril del 2005. Se tomaron los datos por medio de una entrevista abierta y de la observación participante. A continuación de las etapas de aprensión, sintesis, teorización y recontextualización se hizo un análisis. Los resultados demostraron la aplicabilidad de la propuesta, ya que ésta favoreció el proceso de cuidado de dichos niños.

Neste estudo foi construído um processo metodológico de cuidado junto a crianças institucionalizadas que sofreram violência. Teve como objetivo ampliar o conhecimento teórico-metodológico sobre o brinquedo terapêutico e desenvolver um modelo de cuidado para sua aplicação. O estudo foi desenvolvido com base na Pesquisa Convergente Assistencial, de abordagem qualitativa, de outubro de 2004 a abril de 2005, com três crianças. Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevista aberta e observação participante. O processo de análise seguiu as etapas de apreensão, síntese, teorização e recontextualização. Os resultados demonstraram a aplicabilidade da proposta, já que favoreceu o processo de cuidado a essas crianças.

This article describes a care methodology, for abused children living in orphanages. This study aimed at increasing the theoretical-methodological knowledge on therapeutic play, and to develop a methodology for its application. This qualitative Convergent Care Study was developed between October of 2004 and April of 2005, with three children. Data were collected using open interviews and participant observation. The analysis process included collection, synthesis, theorization, and recontextualization. Results evidenced that the methodology can be applied, as it allowed better care of these children.
