
Impact of a vocal improvement course.To analyze the impact of a course in the prevention and maintenance of the teachers' vocal health.Information analysis of 6 teachers, who attended a 32:30-hour-course, obtained from the questionnaires applied during the course and from an interview with 3 teachers, 11 months after the course ended.Teachers valued the vocal warming up; took responsibility for the contents and activities which were not incorporated to their daily routine; followed the vocal health instructions when in the classroom and considered the time insufficient to retain the new concepts.Changes were observed in the teachers' use of the voice, in higher or lower level.
