[Adenomatoid odontogenic tumor].

Abstract

Adenomatoid odontogenic tumor is observed most frequently in male patients aged between 10 and 20 years. Occurring usually in the anterior part of the upper jaw, its discovery is often fortuitous during routine radiological examinations, which show a well defined clear zone 1 to 3 cm in diameter. Treatment by curettage results in healing by secondary bone cicatrization. A case is reported and epidemiological, clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic and prognostic features reviewed.
