Abstract

Roland Barthes's one of the thougths about the rhetorical of the visual is third meaning can be found in the comic book process and in this contex how philosophy of the visual can be used in this art form is in question. When comic books gets examined with in third meaning, it shows that in its being both with its visual richness and writting world comic book carries the most active important role of both these elements in our age and in the future of art. By carrying these elements of visuals and narration specialities comic books proves that it isn't just a part of popular culture but also an art form which its essence belongs before pre date verbal art.Comic books by its devolopment in ages and its function achieved to place itself as a mythology and part of a powerfull art form for story telling.By Third meaning idea can be found between comic books scenes is a proof of this indicator.

Roland Barthes'in görüntü retoriği üzerinden ele aldığı üçüncü anlam yorumunun çizgi romanlarda'ki işlevi içerisinde görselin felsefesini nasıl kullandığı söz konusudur.Çizgi roman sanatı üçüncü anlamın varlığı içerisinde incelendiği zaman yazısal dünyanın ve görsel zenginliğin çağımızda ve gelecekteki sanatta ne denli etkin bir rol oynadığı görülmektedir.Çizgi romanın üstlendiği bu rol ortaya koyduğu anlatımlar ve imajlar üzerinden sadece popüler kültürün bir ürünü olmasının dışında sözel kültürden bile önceye dayanan köklü bir sanat olduğunu göstermektedir.Çizgi roman gelişimi ve işlevi ile çağlar boyunca ortaya bir mitoloji olarak çıkmış ve hikaye anlatımı olarak oldukça güçlü bir sanat formu olmaktadır. Üçüncü anlamın varlığının çizgi roman panellerinde bulunabilmesi bunun bir göstergesidir.
