Once familiar -suppressed- emerging from the obscurity, as in the concept of uncanniness and the reflections in art; examined based on Freud's approach to the concept. The frame of the work is bond by firstly with the philosopy of aesthetic and with the conception of the uncanny. The uncanny feeling of which and how a humanbeing first experiences it, is researched in the context of biology and psychology and a baby's journey through the canny to uncanny starting from the mother's womb. Taken into account in a wide range, the place of subconscious in the concept of uncannines, from the miscellaneous Symbolists and Surrealists to the contemporary artists who put the(ir) body in the center of their art's; and in which all their uncanny connections and overlapping concepts got scanned.Key Words: uncannines, unheimlich, Freud, subconscious, abject
Bir zamanlar tanıdık olanın -bastırılmış olanın- su yüzüne çıkışı olarak tekinsizlik kavramı ve sanattaki yansımaları; Freud'un kavrama yaklaşımı baz alınarak incelenmiştir. Metnin kurgusu estetik felsefesi ile açılarak, kavram olarak tekinsizlikten bahsedilmiştir. Tekinsizliğin insan hayatında ilkin ne zaman hissedildiğinden ve anne rahmindeki bir bebeğin biyolojik ve psikolojik bağlamda tekinden tekinsize olan yolculuğu genel olarak incelenmiştir. Bilinçdışının tekinsizlik kavramındaki yeri göz önünde bulundurularak çeşitli Sembolist ve Sürrealist sanatçılardan beden(lerin)i merkeze alan güncel sanatçılara değin geniş bir yelpazede tekinsiz bağlantılar ve örtüşümler ve ilgili kavramlar mevzu-bahis edilmiştir.Anahtar Kelimeler: tekinsizlik, unheimlich, Freud, bilinçdışı, abject
