Aim of the paper is the analysis of the sources (only epigraphic) about the collegia of Venafrum (IS-Italy); they have so far received little attention. Not few the reasons of interest: the known collegia almost entirely are dated in the first century AD; they provide further evidence of close ties and mutual influences between Venafrum, belonging to the Campanian territory, and the neighbouring centers (first of all, Aesernia), in the regio IV - Sabina et Samnium. For CIL, IX 4853 there is a new proposal for restitution.
